DELIGHTFUL SINS – Lola King (Released November 30th, 2023)
My Quick Thoughts: 3.5/5 stars – While I did enjoy this book and the organized crime aspects, I feel like it could have been about 100 pages shorter. Things felt a little repetitive at times and I wanted to scream at Jade for making things significantly harder for everyone involved SO MANY times. It’s amazing how simple communication can be to clear up misunderstandings and other issues – but it’s a dark romance book, so there has to be some obstacles in the relationships. If you don’t want a lot of smut and spice, then probably skip this one. I’ll probably go back and check out the first couple books – I did enjoy it but it needed to be a little shorter to keep the quick pace going throughout.
