Talk about an introduction to a new-to-me author! When I started TWISTED KNIGHT, I had no idea this was the beginning of a new series, and that ending. I’m mad I now have to wait, very impatiently, for the next book to come out. Don’t let this cover fool you, this isn’t any kind of fantasy romance book. I initially thought that this would be because the cover does have those vibes, but this is 100% enemies to lovers, billionaire, and heavy on the revenge romance. I know with some of these tropes, the books can start to feel the same and follow a formula, however, this book stood apart from the rest for me.

The alpha males we come to expect in these tropes all tend to have a similar cadence to how they speak and mannerisms to how they interact with others and our FMC. Not in this book! Our FMC isn’t just a brat or far too naive for her own good. I think Bromberg did an incredible job giving Rowan and Holden more depth and having them stand on their own within the story. Yes, the chemistry is palpable and overwhelming but they exist outside of each other.

The spice in this book. Prepare yourself and if you aren’t a fan, maybe wait to pick this one up. I love seeing their feelings grow and develop outside of just the physical aspect and I’m DYING to know how this series will continue!
