Book Description:

A brand new scorchingly spicy dark mafia, enemies-to-lovers, grumpy/sunshine standalone romance by bestselling author, Jagger Cole.

He’s the wolf who wants to swallow the whole world. I’m the girl who bites back.

Nero De Luca is carnage in a tailored suit. A vicious killer. An obsessive hunter. A beautiful villain with blood on his hands and ice in his veins.

I was supposed to be a distraction. A game. Just a girl stupid enough to dance too close to his fire. But I looked him in the eye when I should’ve bowed. I bared my teeth when I should’ve begged. Now I’m locked in his cage of silk and steel. His captive. His obsession. His war.

But I’m not the delicate thing he thinks he stole. I’m the storm he never saw coming. And I don’t bend for kings. I break monsters.

Dance of Madness is a standalone dark mafia romance with a smart untamable heroine and an ultra possessive hero with “look at her and I’ll unalive you” energy. Readers are STRONGLY advised to read the TW inside. No cliffhanger; HEA included.

My Thoughts: 5/5 stars – Here is book three in Jagger Cole’s The Darkest Dance interconnected series. While you don’t HAVE to read the other two books, I highly recommend them. Not just because there will be some references to established characters and events, but because they’re equally dark and spicy and addictive. DANCE OF MADNESS is right up there with the first book – that one will be hard to beat for me but this is a very close second. Cole just knows how to create the most intense chemistry between characters and it blow my mind every single time. This one is on the longer side at around 500ish pages, but not a single one is wasted and there aren’t any lulls or repetitiveness.

We start off with a haunted house – obviously this is the book for me. Milena loses a bet and has to go inside the incredibly haunted Greymoor Manor and is dared to take and leave something in the home and record herself doing it (for proof). Little does she know, there’s someone watching her, and not the ghosts, a very real threat is lurking in the dark. A masked man chases her through the house and when he catches her, Milena is able to free herself and flee the house. And so begins the obsessive relationship between Nero and Milena.

Jagger Cole has quickly become one of my favorite authors in the dark romance genre and I have no plans to stop with this series. The depth and intensity of these characters jumps off the page, the banter between the two, and the spice. Holy crap – if you don’t want spice then probably avoid this series altogether. As always, I highly recommend reading the TW in the book before starting, but there’s always the guarantee of violence in these dark mafia romances. I’m loving meeting more the men of the Black Court and I love that the MMC’s personalities always match their respective masks. The wolf? Loves the hunt and the chase, and Nero fits that to perfection. Bring on book four!

About the Author:

A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.

Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.

When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside–rain or shine.
