My Thoughts: 4/5 stars
Another installment in the Darkest Dance series means its time to clear out my schedule for some uninterrupted reading time. There’s just something about Jagger Cole’s writing that just sucks me in from the start and I refuse to put down my Kindle. DANCE OF DEVILS is the fourth installment and we get Kir’s story. Someone I know that I’ve been waiting for, and so have a lot of other readers. This man did not disappoint in the slightest. Like with all of these books, I highly recommend checking out the TW in the book, this is a dark mafia romance. There is some violence and we have an intense MMC.
Brooklyn loves nothing more than ballet, even though she is struggling to get by, that is her passion and she will do anything to continue living that dream. When their paths cross, Kir has found his new obsession and he will do whatever he has to make her completely his. The tension between these two. The SPICE. The secrets and learning to trust each other. There was one piece that I didn’t understand and why he continued to keep her out of the loop on. I don’t want to go into too much detail and have spoilers, but that was really the only thing that I didn’t understand. Then that leading to other events not being discussed later on.
Either way, another addictive and incredible installment in this series. I can’t wait for the next one and to see where the author takes us next. While this can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the other books in the series. They’re all part of an interconnected universe and you’ll get to know some of the other characters better because of it.
