This is now available for download and on Kindle Unlimited!

Book Description:
I didn’t know his eyes were the ones watching me…
I ran to the woods to disappear. No food or hope. Just a broken heart filled with memories of a cheating ex and a marriage in shambles. Then the gifts started appearing.
Firewood stacked neatly outside the door. Homemade food in the fridge and a note with an all-too familiar handwriting. He never knocked. Never spoke. Just…watched.
Until the night I ventured too far…and he came to save me.
Now he says I belong to him. That he’s waited years for me. That no one—not my ex husband, not my family, not the rules of the world—will take me from him again. Because Owen isn’t a stranger. He’s my stepbrother.
My forbidden first crush and the boy they warned me about. But he’s all grown now. And this man’s come to claim what’s his and make me beg for more.
This Christmas, I haven’t been a good girl, so I know I won’t be getting a big wrapped present under the tree. Instead I’m getting dragged to bed, kissed breathless, and ravaged under the mistletoe. I’ve never wanted anything more.
Warning: This is a dark, taboo, obsessive, stepbrother romance with intense heat, twisted love, and a very happy (and filthy!) ending. If you like possessive men and holiday spice, unwrap this one carefully.
My Thoughts: 4/5 stars – This was everything you would want from a Jane Henry book – pulls you in immediately, characters you become instantly invested in, all the spice, and even a fun little tie-in to another series (I see you, Undertaker, and I was very happy to). I highly recommend checking out those trigger warnings. Remember, this is still a dark romance, even if it does take place around the holidays.
One thing Henry knows how to write is very obsessive men. Something that just consumes the character and the reader can feel the intensity. Owen is no exception and the lengths he will go to protect Emma know no limits. This isn’t some stranger, this is his stepsister and after her marriage falls apart, due to a cheating husband, he makes sure to keep an eye on her while she runs away to an isolated cabin in the woods.
I really like their dynamic and the chemistry just jumps off the page. At around 250 pages, this book went by fast and I highly recommend you have some time cleared out when starting this, because you won’t want to stop!

About the Author:
Fueled by dark chocolate and even darker coffee, USA Today bestselling author Jane Henry writes what she loves to read— character-driven, unputdownable romance featuring dominant alpha males and the powerful heroines who bring them to their knees. She’s believed in the power of love and romance since Belle won over the beast, and finally decided to write love stories of her own.
