GHOST GLASSES – Rikki Goodwan (Releasing February 24th, 2026)
I don’t know about you, but reading the about the author makes me want to read more by her. I love me a fun and interesting piercer – I do have 31 of them now!

Book Description:
When a sixty-years-dead lonely ghost meets the spirit of a child, she’s forced to confront the monsters haunting her to provide the child with companionship. Whether by finding others trapped in-between as they are, or contacting the girl’s living father using a smarmy paranormal investigator hunting for fame, she’s determined to succeed in her task.
But the ghost’s memory isn’t what it used to be, and reality fades more by the day. The monsters are growing more resolute. She’ll have to reunite the child with family before she forgets her mission…and herself.
My Thoughts: 4/5 stars
Now we all might think we know how ghost stories go and how most hauntings play out. Not this book! Goodwin give us something so inventive and unique for the trope and I absolutely loved it. GHOST GLASSES not only has an incredibly interesting and emotional story line but we also get some of the most memorable characters. Our MC is a lonely ghost who has been around so long that she’s forgotten who she was, including her own name.
When I say there are some characters you love to hate, I mean viscerally HATE. It’s the best when you can get characters like that and you’ll know exactly who when you start. This was a quick read and nothing too scary, so this is perfect for those who don’t like horror on the lighter side of the spectrum. Definitely a haunted house/ghost story that I won’t forget about anytime soon! Now I need to check out more of Goodwin’s other books.
