Strange Planet – Nathan W. Pyle

Who else has been following this hilarious Instagram page? My fiance and I laugh at these little alien comics all the time and I was really excited to see a book releasing with all of these in one place.

Thanks to William Morrow for sending me the free copy in exchange for my honest review and feature

STRANGE PLANET – Nathan W. Pyle (Releasing Today!)

Book Description:

I feel more attractive.
Honestly, you are.
It’s the star damage.

Straight from the mind of New York Times bestselling author Nathan W. Pyle comes an adorable and profound universe in pink, blue, green, and purple. Based on the phenomenally popular Instagram of the same name, Strange Planet covers a full life cycle of the planet’s inhabitants, including milestones such as:

The Emergence Day
Being Gains a Sibling
The Being Family Attains a Beast
The Formal Education of a Being
Celebration of Special Days
Being Begins a Vocation
The Beings at Home
Health Status of a Being
The Hobbies of a Being
The Extended Family of the Being
The Being Reflects on Life While Watching the Planet Rotate

With dozens of never-before-seen illustrations in addition to old favorites, this book offers a sweet and hilarious look at a distant world not all that unlike our own.

My Quick Thoughts: 5/5 stars

I mean, it’s really hard to rate little comic books like this – or would it be more of a graphic novel? Either way, I absolutely loved these. I’ve loved them since I found their Instagram page and it was fun revisiting some of my favorites and finding some new ones.

When you see a pillow with “Survive. Chuckle. Show Affection” how could you not love it? Based on the fact I was laughing at these and sharing them as I went with my fiance, then I’d say this was a no-brainer on the 5 stars. Now we wait for more!
