Mini Review: 3.5/5 stars – I think reading book one would be smart to do in this instance. I feel like I was missing some of the world building and character development/background that would have added some more depth to the book. That being said, I still was very entertained and captivated from start to finish. If you want a fun new fantasy series, then definitely keep this one on your radar.
