Book Mail – April 2023

Playing some catch up with book mail posts and reviews this week! I’ll have a lot coming before the end of the month.

Thanks to the mentioned publishers for any gifted copies I received in exchange for honest reviews – a few are from orders I placed and am very excited to read.

I had to share both of these, side by side, because these photos were taken TWO DAYS apart from each other. Look at the difference! Who knew the end of April still had some tricks waiting for us? Almost all the snow was melted away and then two days later we ended up with another 7 inches of snow.

THE HAUNTING OF ALEJANDRA – V. Castro (Released April 18th, 2023 – Thanks to Del Rey Books for the copy)

A woman is haunted by the Mexican folk demon La Llorona as she unravels the dark secrets of her family history in this ravishing and provocative horror novel.
