On Edge is Sage and Troy’s story. A dark gothic enemies-to-lovers romance intended for mature readers, containing material that some may find triggering or offensive.
My Thoughts: 4/5 stars – I loved book one and book two did not disappoint! Mallory Fox knows how to write an addictive book. I couldn’t put this down – started in the morning on a weekend and ended that same night. So, make sure to clear the schedule before you start ON EDGE. We get Sage and Troy’s story, and it is one of revenge, arranged marriages, enemies-to-lovers, and all of the gothic and creepy vibes you could ever want. Sage is promised off to Troy in an arranged marriage – the same man that her sister was previously promised to before her death. The level of obsession he has with Sage. The lengths he goes to. If it wasn’t a dark romance, it might seem sweet, but we all know better. It’s still swoon-worthy but in the twisted way we love. I recommend checking out those trigger warnings before starting and I highly recommend picking up book one (even though they are standalone novels).
