Time to kick off the blog blitz tour with some other great book blogs! Make sure to check them all out for their reviews 🙂
Thanks to Bloodhound Books and Andrew Barrett for the free ebook copy in exchange for my honest review.
NO TIME TO DIE – Andrew Barrett (out today!)
When CSI Eddie Collins finds a dead woman in his house, he thinks life can’t get any worse, until a violent gang ties his hands together and puts a gun to his head. And this time there’s no way out.
Operation Domino is the investigation into gang boss, Slade Crosby, and his connection to an undercover officer’s death. But tampered evidence kills the investigation’s progress, and with Eddie gone, Slade is in the clear.
There’s only one way to get Slade in cuffs, but it won’t be easy…
My Thoughts: 4/5 stars!
I’ve enjoyed a couple of other books by Andrew Barrett, so I was excited to jump in on this blog blitz tour! NO TIME TO DIE is book two in the CSI Eddie Collins series, and while it wasn’t too hard to read as a standalone, I definitely feel like I should go back to book one and get to know Eddie better.
As with most books from Bloodhound Books it’s so hard to talk about the plot without ruining some great twists and spoilers! From the very beginning we start this book off with a bang – CSI Eddie Collins finds a dead woman in his home. As if that’s not enough, we get some gangland murders, deep undercover operations, and so much more.
Eddie Collins is a tough, no-nonsense crime scene investigator, but he’s got a sense of humor and some witty remarks to go along with it. We go back and forth within different perspectives and Barrett does a great job pulling you into the investigation. If you’re looking for a quick read and a great crime fiction/thriller, then look no further!
