My Thoughts: 4/5 stars
This was my introduction to Kerry Kaya and I can’t believe I’ve never picked up anything by her before. THE PRICE has all the elements for a quick thriller and I flew through it. We get a book with gritty and violent London gangs, turf wars, and at the heart of it, a strong bond between brothers that will be put to the test.
The love that Fletch has for his brother Spencer felt so genuine. A big brother sacrificing all that he can to make sure Spencer is protected. Well, enter the East End gangster Billy King. I’ll always love a book that has to do with gangsters. It’s a world of violence, secrets, strict codes, and loyalty.
I think Kaya did a great job bringing these characters to life and like I had mentioned already, the relationship between the brothers feels so real. The pacing was great and we got to be submerged into the underground with these two battling gangs. I definitely plan on picking up more from this author.

Kerry Kaya is a British gangland crime Author, born and raised on the outskirts of East London.
She is an avid reader and has a passion for books. From an early age she began writing stories, and in her later years those stories went on to become full length novels and novellas.
Kerry lives with her partner and Daughter.
