I’ve been having a great time with all of these horror novellas lately. I will forever love when authors can make innocent and inanimate objects into something scary and dangerous. PARACHUTE by Holly Rae Garcia comes in at around 120 pages and oh boy, does this one pack a punch in that small amount of time. Such a simple thing, the colorful parachute you would all stand around and lift up high and sit inside of to create the balloon. Always fun to see your friends across the parachute, right? Well, what would you do if you got underneath the parachute to find yourself somewhere else and not being able to see your friends? What happens when you don’t all make it back? I loved this book and it also made me so relieved that I no longer work at the child center or summer camp at Lifetime Fitness because we used these all the times. That being said, I’d love to see a follow up in this kind of setting. I can only imagine the chaos. Highly recommend!
